The disposable camera he had when he shot the elk didn't have a flash so the only pics we have our in our front yard. As you can see Brandon and his good friend Ryan brought the elk whole so the kids could see it. That is the first and only time they will do it that way. As for me(Michelle) I didn't get a shot at one this year but I probably lost 2 lbs hiking all over skyline. Hopefully next year I will be blogging about my own.

Okay so I'm a California girl and although I have lived in Utah for some time I still have a hard time looking at a dead animal the blood is just too much for me. I know you will think I am wimpy but I just like to see my meat in the grocery store :) But I'm glad Brandon had a good time!
Brandon the Elk Slayer... that has a good ring to it... now it needs to be Michelle the elk slayer and Ryan the elk slayer... who knows if i will ever get out of my whimpy ways and be strong enough to actually pull the bow back... LOL!! Thanks again for dinner you guys are great!
